  2. Sunglasses? What sunglasses?

    A grey start to Spring hasn’t stopped me dreaming of buying some new sunglasses. Here are eight of my favourite pairs - a mix of designer and highstreet - from the likes of Topshop, Urban Outfitters and Farfetch. As you can see from my picks, I am a fan of a sexy cats-eye frame and  love tortoise shell print.

  4. What I bought with my £40 @Selfridges Christmas giftcard and a few of the @Topshop things I’d rather like to add to my SS13 wardrobe.

    Embracing my infatuation with beautiful Typography my eyes were immediately drawn to the print, cut and length of the Letter Print Shirt Dress, £50. My friends and I are quite a fan of the new, rather bold, and mostly monochrome ‘Art Haus’ trend that Topshop have created for Spring/ Summer 2013.

    I also enjoyed this silky playful Half and Half Spot Tee, £32, I tried it on in an 8 and it fit rather nicely. It’s supposed to be quite a loose fit I think so I recommend trying on your normal size and the size down to see what looks best on you.

    I’ve been infatuated with all things leather for a while now and when I saw this Leather Tshirt Dress hung up on the ‘Last Chance to Buy’ rack, I decided to try it on for size. It’s pretty pricey around the £120 mark, and I don’t think I ‘fell in love’ with it as much as I did trying on the Boutique Leather Pinafore (which my friend Sophie got for her birthday and looks AMAZING in!)

    And finally… I tried on the beautiful Epilette Silk Peacock Top by Boutique, £65. It was soooo pretty and the material felt feather-light, but it made me feel ‘a bit old for my age’? Does that sound odd? I’d still quite like to have one though… but it’s not top of my list.

    However, I DID BUY the Letter Print Shirt Dress via Topshop, Selfridges, which meant the dress only cost £10 as I was able to use my £40 Selfridges giftcard towards it! (in a size 10 as the 8 was quite snug around my waist and would be even more snug after a good meal! The dress looked great when worn with a nice waist belt on my night out with friends) Yessss!

  6. Check mate! Great night @Daloo3a launch with @wolfwhistle @katchlondon. These proved to be pretty comfy photography pants! I wasn’t sure about these black and white @topshop denim leggings at first but now I love them! 

  7. Ok peeps! To buy or not to buy… Short or long @topshop knitted textured crop jumper in electric? And do you like this denim skirt?? Update: I BOUGHT IT! The cropped version.

    Forest Green, SCARLETT, Wide Brim Trilby, £59, Reiss (S/M) It was a matter of “I NEED this in my life” and it matched my Sophie Hulme Tote from YBD a treat!

    Silk Satin jumpsuit with a rosette, was £29.99 now £22.99, (SALE) Zara (tried on both the XSmall and a Medium. A Small would have been perfect!)

    Black and Gold, Ankle Boot with studded toe, was £119 now £59.99, Zara (I can’t believe they still have a size 5 (38) left in these beauties!!)

    My outfit yesterday, for a spot of rifling through the sales, consisted of my favourite black and gold studded velvet leggings from Topshop, which were around £20 - a variation of which are now in the sale for £12!

    I also wore my newly purchased Scarlett Trilby from Reiss, after ogling Garance Dore in hers whilst flicking through the new Sartorialist book. (I’ve done a little write up about the books, which I will post soon!)

    I threw on my comfy oxblood coloured ‘Neppy’ tee from Topshop, a steal at £14. They have them available in khaki now too.

    Last but not least I wore my Dr Martens Darla Chelsea Heeled Ankle Boots, another steal from TK Maxx for a few squid. (about £35!)

    I topped it all off  with my smart new camel coat from the Next sale (was £60 reduced to £30) and my Sophie Hulme Green Leather Tote Bag from Young British Designers.

    Et voila!

  9. Hankering after all things leather @topshop. A few lusthave pieces…

    I love things that are a literally ‘a walking work of art’. This painted leather skirt is incredible! I’m not sure what I want to do more… frame it or wear it? But either way, it has definitely caught my eye.

    As many of you who follow my blogging, on a regular-ish basis, will have guessed, I adore TAN leather and so my decision to include the vintage luggage in this list is a bit of an obvious one.

    I am also really craving this leather pinafore dress at the moment, and I’m keeping my fingers (and rest of limbs) crossed that it will still be available (read: will have gone into sale), in January when my lovely family will have hopefully gifted me some Topshop or Selfridges vouchers… (pleeeeeeease!!!)

    I caved in and bought the Zara embroidered front peplum earlier this year after missing out on purchasing the oxblood/ wine coloured one from H&M. I adore the intricate detailing on the cut-out leather shell top and think this could look quite special worn over something rather plain or perhaps sheer, if you’re going for full-on sexy.

    The black leather T-shirt and leather T-shirt dress are both equally divine! I guess the dress would be more wearable… you could layer stuff over it, perhaps a chunky wool jumper? and get away with it looking like you were wearing a leather skirt. Nice!

    I saw a stunner of a woman recently in the Cat and Mutton pub on Broadway Market, Hackney, East London, who was wearing a fantastic Sunday outfit which consisted of a tight black leather midi pencil-skirt, into which she had tucked in a really simple and slightly sheer (in a cool/ not slutty way) plain white t-shirt, and had finished the look off with slightly dishevelled ‘I’ve-just-rolled-out-of-bed-with-my-gorgeous-boyfriend’ sunkissed brunette long locks and a slick of red lipstick whilst keeping the rest of her make-up pretty neutral. She looked hot! That is a look I’d like to try… first I need to buy myself a niiiiiiice white t-shirt and then spend a few hours perfecting the ‘natural make-up’ look. Haha!
