June 4, 2013 Lucie Kerley Today I had a very INTERESTING experience with @sallyhansenuk’s ‘Airbrush Legs’. If only I’d read the teeny-tiny instructions…(properly). I decided to wear a skirt to the office today but realised that my legs were less than ‘summer skirt-ready’. So… i popped into Boots and thought “Ooh! I’ll try something I’ve not used before or had any of my friends recommend to me.” FAIL. The end result looked ok, but I hadn’t realised you didn’t spray it directly onto the skin like you usually do with Ambre Solaire sublime bronze self-tan spray! It looked like I’d applied a thick layer of orange creosote fence paint to my previously off-white, ghostly pale legs!!!! To make matters worse I’d decided to apply it just before going into the office - in the toilets at work - and so had to spend a good 5-10 mins dabbing at my saturated legs with scrunched up toiled tissue to remove the copious amount of product I’d mistakenly applied to my skin. The finished effect and colour was quite nice though… it just took a lot of effort to get there. Beware this product’s fine brown mist gets EVERYWHERE! Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs costs £9.99 from Boots.
