Lucie Loves... Fashion // Vogue China 10th anniversary, Milan
I wanted to share a few photos from the Vogue China 10th anniversary party that I attended in Milan. It was truly the most decadent party ever.
As a guest of Huawei, I was invited to the launch of their limited edition Fornasetti-designed smartwatch, which happened to coincide rather nicely with Vogue China’s party at Milan Fashion Week. What a night!
Also on the trip were fellow bloggers, Annie, Danielle, Brogan, Jess, Carrie and Reem. along with members of the fashion and tech press, Ellen Kerry from Heat, Alex Light from Hello, Spencer Hart from T3, Sabina Emrit from Access Fashion and Jasmine Gardner from Sunday Times Style.
Dressed in all our finery, we drank glasses of Franciacorta sparkling wine and swanned around the vast neoclassical interior of the Royal Palace of Milan, (otherwise known as the Palazzo Reale) craning out necks to take in the magnificent space and the ceiling that soared above us.
I wore the silver tinsel indigo dress by Young British Designer’s Florence Bridge, my Fornasetti-designed Huawei Watch, Meli Melo white rock snake camera bag, assorted bracelets and a pair of Aldo rose gold strappy sandals.
Mario Testino, Angelica Cheung, Giorgio Armani, Karlie Kloss, Sean O’Pry and many other high-profile fashion darlings schmoozed their way through the evening, quaffing fizz and cooing over an array of Mario’s finest work.
Each guest at Vogue China’s 10th anniversary party was gifted a special edition Fornasetti-designed Huawei Watch.
Glory Zhang, Chief Marketing Officer, Huawei Consumer BG, said of the Fornasetti watch design: “This collaboration with Fornasetti is the start of an exciting journey for Huawei, delivering connections between innovative technology and art, design and culture. This is the first of many exciting cultural collaborations as we move to become an innovator within the arts.”
A special thank you to Spencer Hart for kindly taking a few photos for me over the weekend, you’re a legend.
