In our final attempt at mastering the art of good ‘Cocktail' etiquette, we were split into two teams and challenged with the task of making up our own cocktail using ANY of the spirits available in the bar.

The Ranieri Communications team would be the ones to decide whose was the winning cocktail.

We scrabbled together, working quickly, remembering and also forgetting the tricks our Mixology teacher had shown us. We settled on some whisky, Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, Lemon juice, a dusting of cinnamon on the rim and a splash of mixer and ice and named it our 'Whisky Tart’. We nominated James, who runs the Mens’ Magazine Lifestyle Blog, Blokely. James did a grand job of  'talking-up’ our bevvy and presented it to the Ranieri taste-testing panel.

However, we were up against a drink which the other team had aptly named 'Bloggers Delight’, or something to that effect. It tasted like holidays - I think that gave them the edge.

They won! *sobs*

All in all, it was a fun event and we met some really nice people and got our hands on some really nice toys. The Ranieri team ended the event on a high as they called out a prize-draw! 

JMG and I were very lucky and won a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet between us!!! Amazing! Can’t wait to try it out! It’s going to live with JMG for a bit whilst I’m in my tiny bedroom with not much space to store hoard stuff. Although, I look forward to seeing whether I can use the Wacom to help me with my photo editing and retouching… I’ll let you know!
