Lucie Loves... Fashion // Perks up your AW14 wardrobe with a little Sophie Hulme, Danielle Romeril & Kult Domini
When it comes to the eclectic things that I like to wear, I’m known for being a riot of colour. I’m one of those girls that flings herself at her wardrobe in the morning and comes out in an outfit that matches her mood. Sometimes this technique is more successful than others…
However, with autumn offering up its own palette of very beautiful, natural hues, I decided to give monochrome a whirl. Pinterest is awash with black and white street style looks and is always my go to place for inspiration.
I love this co-ord set consisting of the two-tone Michael skirt and Angie polo by Young British Designer Danielle Romeril. I first spotted her work at London Fashion Week as part of Topshop’s much-celebrated NEWGEN collection.
Danielle’s pieces are made in Britain using 100% silk with cotton lace and a heat sealed tape trim. I paired them with some stunning creamy-white Kult Domini pony & leather signature *made by hand*brogues with a delightfully chunky heel - they are so comfy.
Sophie Hulme’s large leather structured buckle tote in plum, navy, prune and tan is a great multi-tonal accessory and works well when set against a monochrome background.
I always love seeing what Sophie Hulme’s charm choice is for that particular season: AW14 brings a comedy pair of eyes to her covetable totes, which are designed in London and made in Italy.
