Last weekend I went home to see my family and wore this outfit. My mum took a few photos for me in our back garden. I love the hazy autumnal light that you get in the evening, especially when shooting with a 50mm lens.

I’ve seen check EVERYWHERE! But I wanted to think differently about how I might wear it. I really enjoy pairing new season trends with existing wardrobe pieces, you get more bang for your buck - so to speak. In this case, it was the Zoe Jordan oversized glencheck knit from Young British Designers that caught my eye.

A girl can never have enough jumpers, shoes, handbags, or dresses. I look forward to this time of year. Autumn colour palettes and cooler weather means more opportunities to layer up clothes in your wardrobe that you love, but haven’t worn much over the summer months. Statement jumpers aka the ‘IT’ sweater - as they’re calling it in Vogue, oversized knits and even fluffy pullovers are everywhere on the highstreet, there’s something for every price point too. It’s just about finding THE ONE. I promise you, when you do, you wont be able to take it off.

What I wore:

What do you think of the clash of monochrome and animal print? Would you wear this look?
