Lucie Loves... Beauty // My Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Look
I was super excited when this particular blog enquiry dropped into my inbox: I’m a sucker for trying new makeup brands. I first set eyes on Charlotte Tilbury ’s sumptuously packaged products in Selfridges at her launch event a while back after popping in with my friend Pauline.
We each were asked to choose from her selection of 10 signature looks and then waited as we were transformed by one of her makeup artists.
Charlotte has devised a colour palette for her collection which is subtle in hue but adds a certain feline fierceness to your makeup look. It’s great for fellow redheads and brunette’s who like to add warmth to their skin.
I’m a fan of a bold eye look and wear liquid eyeliner daily to create a catseye flick. She has also launched a range of stunning skincare products to create the perfect foundation on which to apply her products.
I’ve been using Charlotte’s Magic Cream - a moisturiser that promises to both treat and transform - for the past 2-months now and can vouch for how heavenly this luxe cream makes your skin feel. After all, it does contain 20-years of Charlotte’s insider beauty knowledge. It has a SPF15 and an anti-UVA filter to protect the skin and smells like roses!
I’ve been tinkering around with my personalised selection of products for a while now and love them that much that I’ve incorporated them into my daily makeup regime.
My favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury’s collection (as worn in the photos above) include:
- Multi-miracle glow
- K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Nude Kate
- Luxury palette eyeshadow in The Dolce Vita
- The feline flick liquid eyeliner in Panther - this goes on like a dream!
- Cheek to chic blusher in Ecstasy
- Lip cheat lip liner in Pillowtalk
- Lip lustre gloss in Seduction
I’ve added a before shot of my bare face - minus makeup - so that you can see exactly how much of a wonder Charlotte’s products work to create a natural finish.
I’d recommend Charlotte’s products to anyone wishing to splurge on some new goodies for their makeup bag. The quality is fantastic, the pigment in the eyeshadow has real staying power and the nude lipstick has truly converted me. I’ve only got a small mouth but lining my lips with the natural coloured lip liner, adding a slick of the Nude Kate K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick and a pop of lip lacquer just makes them look that little bit more defined. Et voila!
What I’m wearing:
- Polka dot check midi dress - & Other Stories
- Camel floppy hat - Topshop
- Signature brogues in white pony & leather - Kult Domini
- Large structured leather tote bag in navy/green/prune/tan - Sophie Hulme
- Gold monogram circle necklace - Anna Lou of London
