Need a pub suggestion for a flipping’ good family Sunday Roast in West London? Try @TheCrabtreeW6, Hammersmith.

What we ate:

  • 1 x Chilli, garlic & parsley prawns
  • 1 x homemade pate
  • 1 x Mussels and chunky bread
  • 3 x Roast beef dinner
  • 1 x Roast pork and crackling
  • 1 x Fish & Chips

It was delicious.

We took my family out for Sunday lunch when they came down to visit recently. It had to be somewhere that would live up to the fabulous Sunday roast that my Nan and Grandad make for the family EVERY SUNDAY (check out my little post about this and the gorgeous homemade profiteroles they make for dessert), and so we chose my local, The Crabtree.

The pub backs onto the river thames and has a lovely outdoor seating area. I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to actually use it! It does get VERY busy on a Sunday, so I would recommend booking a table.

Total bill for 6 adults enjoying an assortment of starters, mains & drinks cost around £130.
