Lucie Loves… Travel // Dreaming of the perfect beach holiday…

I was asked by On the Beach to create a Pinterest board showcasing my favourite things to do when it comes to a beach holiday. 

Right now I’m on my lunch, tapping away at a keyboard, and dreaming of soaking up the sun, sipping on a cocktail or local beer (I’m not fussy) and planning a week of non-stop rest and relaxation.

But, the reality is, when you’re saving up for a wedding, little luxuries like dream beach holidays are exactly that… a dream!

Every penny we have at the moment is going towards our May 2015 wedding. My head is a swarm of thoughts relating to vintage dress alterations, registrar appointments, catering options, hotel and accommodation decisions. Unfortunately, obsessing about stationary and lighting take priority over splashing the cash on a beach break away from it all. We’ve not even begun to think about booking a honeymoon yet…

If we could squeeze in a few days on a white sandy beach between now and our big day, we would pretty much be found doing the majority of things I’ve pinned on here: My perfect beach holiday board.

We love exploring new islands, getting a taste of local culture, discovering hidden coves and spending quality time together.
