Whilst running round our house like a mad woman all morning, shifting filing cabinets down from the loft with JMG and wrapping everything in sight in bubble-wrap in preparation for our house move, my ears were pricked waiting for the DING-DING of the doorbell which would announce the arrival of my gorgeous Charlie May#FIRSTANDFOREVERDR MARTENS PRIZE!!!
AND HERE THEY ARE!!!!
It felt a little bit like Christmas! After all, who doesn’t like receiving goodies through the post?!
I adore this Dr Martens Kerr Tarten Scarf. Perfect for keeping me toasty and warm this Autumn/ Winter.
I was excited to get my hands on these Spike DM’s.

I’m thinking of pairing them with my black Topshop Shiny Disco Pants or my Leather Trousers, But I’m wearing my Primark Tan Floral Jeans here…
Such industrial looking soles! They are bound to be perfect for my stomp to the tube! I think a thick pair of ankle/ hiking style socks over tights would make these look rather fetching with a girly dress!
I love clashing masculine looking pieces with things that are slightly more feminine looking.
I actually think these might be my favourite pair out of the three…
I love the cute little heel!
And finally… how could I get some DM’s without opting for a pair of Cherry Red 1460’s.
Such a lush colour!
Sooo… I think I’m set for AW12 in terms of sturdy boots!
