This afternoon I am assessing an 8mm film collection using a Hanimex E300 hand-wound viewer. This collection and many more have been found by one of our Full Circle groups, Belbroughton History Society during their participation in the @MACEarchive search for home-movies. Once the films have been assessed we will then decide which material is relevant to the Midlands and copy the appropriate reels. Copies of the material will then be given back to community groups and the original depositors in a format which they can access easily such as a DVD, and a copy will also be preserved in MACE’s archive for future generations to enjoy. #HLF #archive #FullCircle #film #search #community #project #volunteers #midlands #westmidlands
