Lucie Loves... Travel // My Lucie Loves Cali road trip and getting there in style with Blacklane

Ok, so I’ve been back in (occasionally) sunny-ish Blighty for a few weeks now – and I’m still ploughing my way through the biggest pile of photos from my trips to California and Ireland. I’m far too snap happy… Eek! Full posts coming soon, I promise.

 I’m going to do a photographic run-down of our California road trip itinerary, complete with our chosen route, where we stayed, what we ate and what I wore (for those that are into that sort of thing!) and a few more top tips for anyone thinking of doing a similar trip.

For now, I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Blacklane– the professional driver service, who picked up three tired darlings from San Francisco airport at the beginning of our trip. We were collected in a MASSIVE beast of a 4x4 American car and driven in relative luxury for the 22 minutes that it took to deliver us safely to the comfort of our San Fran B&B.

The cost of a chauffeur-driven journey from San Francisco airport to Alamo Park with Blacklane is approx. $100, depending on the class of vehicle chosen.

We then had the absolute pleasure of being collected from London Heathrow by the suavest dressed chauffeur either of us had ever laid eyes on.

It was such a relief to be collected, have our bags lifted into the waiting boot and have our weary Coachella-worn bodies driven back towards our respective London abodes.
