Lucie Loves... London // Visions Festival 2014 with Sailor Jerry & AONO Barbershop

A summer in London is never complete without spending time at one of its many festivals! We were invited by the lovely guys at Sailor Jerry to kick-back, relax and sample the very tasty goods on offer at Visions Festival in London Fields.
The Sailor Jerry bar provided the perfect watering hole. We tried Sailor Jerry and dry ginger and also Guinness-laced cocktails—quite the macho combination!

The all-day party took place on an über expanse of rooftop at Netil House, with 360’ views across London! Festival-goers could try their hand at arm wrestling, listen to live music from a line-up that included: “badass noise titans” Poliça, Baths, The Fat White Family, Eagulls and enjoy an exclusive London appearance from the one and only man who knows how to party hard, Andrew WK.

We made an appointment with the boys at AONO Barbershop for JMG to have his hair and beard trimmed. They’re absolute legends and have literally been ‘on tour’ at London’s biggest summer events, shaping up gents with their incredible razor and scissor-wielding skills.

The rooftop BBQ was absolutely delicious! We scoffed pulled-pork rolls with fresh ‘slaw and didn’t speak for the whole 5-minutes it took to (messily) consume them—certainly a sign of good food!
