London Fashion Week fever has taken over Soho.

Brewer Street carpark – home of LFW 16 – is the perfect spot for a bit of people watching. It also has really cool backdrops for street style shoots too. If you’ve never witnessed the array of colourful fashionistas that come out of the woodwork for fashion week, you really need to.

I was asked by the guys at Clarks to choose a pair of shoes or boots to suit my style. I chose these beauties: Phenia Carnaby tan leather bootsby Clarks Originals.

As they’re quite a casual boot, I decided to jazz them up a bit, and wear them with a pair of dark silver glittery ankle socks from Topshop.

The patterned dress is £29.99 from H&M, and the leather jacket is a wardrobe staple of mine from Hide Label, a few seasons back, at Young British Designers.

They’re actually one of the comfiest pairs of boots I’ve ever worn! My friend Mel (who used to work at Clarks when we were at uni in Birmingham) had a very similar pair in black suede, that I used to covet a bit.

The wet cobbles in Soho made for a really cool ‘from where I stand’ backdrop. The colours were almost a perfect match for the tan leather boots and the patterned dress.

Scarf ~ Zara

It started to rain towards the end of our shoot so the scarf actually came in pretty handy as a headscarf (Yes, I know I look about 80 years old!) But I didn’t have an umbrella to stop my hair from turning into rats tails! Needs must!
