Free coffee? Yes please.

This Sunday we went to the London Coffee Festival.

I think I managed to have about 3-4 cups in the same amount of hours. All very good.

I am a firm believer that in life you get what you pay for. There are a few key things that you just can’t shouldn’t skimp on:

  • Good loo roll
  • Decent bin bags
  • Proper coffee
  • Paying for exquisitely prepared/cooked food
  • Well-designed technology
  • Skincare
  • Your teeth/eyes/health

Whoever says that they’re ‘fine’ with just having instant coffee ALL OF THE TIME has obviously never had the pleasure of savouring a freshly brewed proper coffee, made from just-ground beans and everything.

JMG and I are sticklers for trying to hunt down decent food and coffee places wherever we travel. It’s fair to say that a luke-warm, too-milky latte doesn’t quite do it for us…

Not that I’m hard to please or anything…
