The guys at Alpro got in touch again with a new blogger challenge. My task this time was to liven up breakfast using an assortment of flavoured Alpro soya yoghurt: simply plain, lemon & lime and strawberry with rhubarb, and a liberal smattering of tasty toppings.

Over the next five days I’ll be sharing with you some of my favourite Alpro Tops combinations. What Alpro Tops would you choose to jazz up your brekky yoghurt?

What I had…

Monday

  • 1 x cafetiere of Grumpy Mule Organic Sumatra - Gayo Highlands coffee
  • 2 x tbsp Alpro strawberry yoghurt
  • ½ x sliced banana
  • 8 x walnuts
  • 1 x tbsp raspberries

I’m a big fan of a creamy strawberry yoghurt, and I must admit, I didn’t actually realise until after I’d eaten it that it also contains rhubarb - that’s how subtle the flavour is.

I chose to crack open the little tub of walnuts to top my first breakfast yoghurt, along with half a banana, and some raspberries - I buy a big bag of frozen raspberries and then pop them into some boiling water when I want to add them to a dish.

Great combination!

Did you know…

According to World Health Foods these little beauties, as well as being utterly delicious, are actually full of vitamin E too?
