Lucie Loves... London // Backyard Cinema launches 'Lost World': an exciting, new jungle cinema at Mercato Metropolitano
Are you a big fan of popup events?
Do you love to discover new cool things to do in London?
Looking for a date night with a difference?
Tonight I’m off to a very unique sort of blog event and I’m even dressed for the occasion. FYI I’m wearing a safari-esq outfit, consisting of jungle palm leaves, khaki shorts and leopard print.
Yep! I’m going all out for this urban adventure.
“Step into an exciting new world and experience cinema like you have never seen it before. Venture deep into the Lost Jungle through a dangerous temple ruin to watch your favourite action and adventure films.”
The BYC team have done it again! Not long after the melodic sounds of Camden’s Music Fest died down, Backyard Cinema Founder & Creative Director, Dom Davies and his right-hand man, Operations Director, James Milligan have pulled together a jungle from out of thin, and slightly smoggy, Elephant & Castle air!
You need to see for yourself what they’ve done to this incredible, once derelict warehouse space! I popped down a week beforehand to take these ‘Before’ photos.
“Deep in the Lost World you will find beanbags, cocktails and popcorn alongside tropical plants & trees, sound effects and special surprises that will change the way you watch cinema forever. Discover Backyard Cinema’s Lost World.”
Book your tickets now to watch your favourite action and adventure films deep inside the BYC jungle! Films are showing from Friday 16 September to 13 November 2016.
