As a huge coffee lover, I generally have at least one or two cups a day.

I’m usually a latte fan (mainly because I didn’t actually have a clue what the difference was between that and a flat white) but over the last five weeks of my 8 week body transformation I’ve had to cut down and swap my trusted milky fave to a simple Americano or Long Black, which isn’t too much of a hardship, as long as it’s decent coffee!

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of attending one of Costa Coffee Club’s new masterclasses. I arrived amidst a gaggle of other bloggers – mainly lifestyle and mummy types – and settled down to learn a bit more about the history of Costa – the two brothers behind the brand, why it’s never a good idea to open a Costa in Italy due to discerning Italians, and also about their special Old Paradise Street Roastery in London.

When it came round to having a go at creating my own flat white, I made an absolute pig’s ear of the florette design… However, I DID manage to make the milk all shiny and silky, as requested by top barista, Matyas.

Want to know how you can create your favourite caffeinated tipple?

Fancy learning more about coffee than you can shake a stick at? Or… do you think you’ve got what it takes to create some decent latte art and finesse the perfect florette? Well, Costa are giving you the chance to get hands-on in your local store and there’s 170 locations to chose from across the country!

On 21 September, you too can join one of Costa’s top baristas from 7-8pm and learn about all things coffee. Sign up for one of the FREE Costa Coffee Club masterclasses now: http://bit.ly/2cNJUF8
